The People Mover is Anchorage’s public bus transportation system, which has a downtown terminal on 5th and 6th Avenues. Anchorage downtown is compact and walkable; the Tony Knowles Coastal trail, which starts at 2nd Avenue, offers good views of Cook Inlet and the tidal flats.
